Leveraging strategic partnerships.
For 55 years, Mazda Canada has brought the joy of driving to millions of Canadians who celebrate their award-winning engineering and a passion for innovation. In so many years, Mazda has earned partnerships with many valued brands.
One of these partnerships was with Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants Magazine. This magazine is not only a guide to the 100 best restaurants in Canada, it also contains the latest market trends, profiles of industry-leading chefs, and more. The magazine has a premium, upscale feel and is targeted to an affluent audience. As such, this was a great partnership opportunity for Mazda Canada, specifically their CX-50 vehicle.
This project included a double-page spread in the magazine and digital banners on the 100 Best Restaurants’ website. This led support to a fully integrated campaign for the Mazda CX-50. This is one of Mazda’s premium vehicles, and therefore showcasing it in a premium environment, targeted to a more affluent audience, was the right strategy. The integration was well-received and successfully paved the way for the launch of the CX-50.
