To get real results, your CTA needs to be:

  • Benefit Driven: Tell your audience exactly what they’ll get. Focus on them, not on your business.

  • Urgent: Use action words like “Unlock”, “Claim”, “Grab” and add urgency like “Only 5 spots left!!”, “Last chance to lock this in!”.

  • Visually Interesting: Break up text, use capital letters for emphasis, and sprinkle in emojis like digital seasoning.

Try something like:

  • DM us “PROTEIN” and we’ll send you 3 high protein snacks you can make in under 5 minutes 💪

  • Book a call and get a personalized muscle building plan made just for you 🔥

  • 🚀 Unlock your free cheatsheet and grow faster without the guesswork! 

  • Offer expires tomorrow at midnight! ⏳

 

IG Features

Tip: Treat your profile like a mini landing page (not just for cute dog pics, although we support it) and use all the available IG features to your advantage.

Highlights: Your highlight section should guide your audience through what you offer. Every highlight should have a purpose and should be moving your audience closer to taking action. Each highlight should be named appropriately. That means no sparkle emoji ✨ (unless you’re targeting magicians, then by all means carry on).

Create highlights like:

  • About: Who you are, what your offering is, and how to take the next steps with you (website, contact form, DMs). 

  • Resources: Your offerings, lead magnet, and free resources.

  • Client Wins: Testimonials, before / afters, customer results, and transformations.

Pinned Posts: Showcase your most important and valuable posts. With only 3 pins available, feature:

  • Results: Impressive client wins

  • Offer: Your current program or lead magnets

  • Value: Insights or actionable tips to showcase your expertise

Stories: Use questions, polls and quizzes to interact with, segment, and discover your audience’s pain points with questions like:

  • “What is your biggest roadblock with nutrition right now? 🥗: Consistency, Tasty meals, Hitting protein goal”

  • “What is your #1 fitness goal this month? 💪”

Then follow up with a tailored DM:
“Hey! I saw you’re having trouble hitting your protein. Want a few high protein snack ideas to make it easier?”

 

DM Conversations

Tip: Start genuine and meaningful conversations with your audience that aren’t salesy or spammy.

Before jumping straight into the DMs, try warming up your audience a little bit. Engage with them. Like their content. Drop a comment. Reply to their story with a little fire emoji 🔥. They’ll be more receptive to your messages.

To get the conversation flowing, try:
